My wife and I stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon. This place is beautiful and justly earned the #1 spot in the rankings. The gardens and landscaping are as spectacular as the rooms. I will never forget the view of our front patio overlooking the gardens, the jungle, and the volcano. The staff here is eager to please and will work with you to make sure you are happy. The food at the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. Definitely try the tortilla soup! When tour operators stopped to pick up people. others were jealous. The property is new and still expanding, but we never heard any construction noise. We did not try the spa, but it looked really nice. We booked some tours on our own and some through Nayara. They did not overcharge for tours like some other hotels, but did always take care of the details so all you had to do was show up! The free laptops with wifi in the lobby is a perfect exhibit of how they make life easy for you with no additional expense. This place is run right. Our stay at Nayara is the biggest reason we want to visit Costa Rica again.
