Before you begin your adventure on the Sky Trek, you must first ride the Sky Tram, in order to reach the highest point of the Arenal Reserve. Then you are ready to begin your adrenaline-packed adventure over the majestic canopy tree-line.
Sky Trek consists of a zip line system that shows you the Arenal rain forest and its landscape from a unique perspective above the tree line. Safety is our most important consideration. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 2.8 Km. Each zip line spans a distance from 30 to 760 meters, and from 20 to 200 meters in height. The cables go through the trees and also above them, where you may see the gorgeous Arenal Volcano, weather-allowin.
During the Sky Trek tour you will always be with two qualified guides who are accredited by the Costa Rica Tourism Board. The first two zip lines are practice cables; afterwards, you may choose if you want to continue on the more challenging Sky Trek or take a leisurely ride back on the Sky Tram.
